Steppingstones Brochure
Steppingstones Management Services, LLC provides one-on-one and small group instruction. We emphasize high quality instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics for young people of all ages (6-21) and academic levels (K-12).
Steppingstones Educational Services, a division of Steppingstones Management services, LLC, has successfully served children of all ages, and has subsequently developed a reputation of professionalism and conscientious service. For three years we have served Child and Family Services Agency, Office of Special Education, District of Columbia Public Schools, and independent parents/students. We provide one-on-one, and group tutoring services which meet the needs of students that require general and special education support. In addition, we have on-going programs that are tailored to meet the needs and interests of various at-risk youth. We take painstaking measures to assure that our tutors use research/evidence-based teaching methods; and pride ourselves on remaining knowledgeable about our staff’s capabilities.
Our focus on these details helps us make appropriate referrals, and remain current on relevant issues. In addition to our direct service to youth, we also understand and meet the needs of the support staff that comprise the educational team. We are happy to attend educational and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, as well as provide testimony that relays our understanding of the tailored educational needs of the child.
We currently have 45 tutors, mentors, and trainers that provide the noted services. We also have the ability to recruit additional staff as necessary, to meet your agency’s needs.
“Let me first begin by saying how very pleased I am with your tutor and the services that she is providing for my students and school. She is exceptional and I am truly grateful to have her. From her first day, she has worked extremely diligently providing incentives to the students and planning exciting sessions for each of her students. I have seen your tutor in action and she is phenomenal in her work ethic and she has developed such a positive rapport with the students at my DCPS elementary school.”
— After-School Coordinator, DCPS
“His tutor found creative ways to teach reading and math by taking field trips to museums and having hands-on activities. She went above and beyond by checking on him on days when they didn’t have tutoring. My son can frighten people away with his attitude, but your tutor connected with him and showed him she cared about him.”
